An electrical cable connecting the engine to the control panel eliminates the friction and drag of mechanical cable control. This allows you to enjoy a smooth handle switching action. The system’s computer processes and sends precise real-time commands to the electronic motor drives in the boat’s engine to provide precise and smooth throttle control and seamless shifting between gears. It is most noticeable and comparable in the low rev range, where the throttle action is required to be particularly smooth and precise. Together with Suzuki’s Lean Burn Control System, it allows control of fuel and air flow to increase control over the fuel mixture, thus improving fuel economy over a wide operating range.
