DF40A outboard engine is designed to deliver fuel economy in a compact and lightweight design. Suzuki’s most innovative product in the last ten years! This three-cylinder, four-valve-per-cylinder (DOHC) engine features a maintenance-free oil bath-mounted timing chain that gives the outboard improved durability. The DF40A is combined with Suzuki’s Lean Burn Control System to deliver high performance with superior fuel economy.

The new DF40A, DF50A, and DF60A engines utilize many of the technical improvements that Suzuki has developed over the past decade in their boat engines. Suzuki’s Lean Burn Control System ensures good performance, efficient engine operation and
performance. The DF40A, DF50A, and DF60A models also support Suzuki’s Troll-Mode system for those fishing and trolling. Ability to connect to NMEA network.
